The
council have made considerable changes, detailed in the attached letter
to users, to the opening hours of Lollard Street Adventure Playground.
In effect the playground will now be open for only one day a week until
next April when it is proposed, as part of the Co-operative Council
Agenda, that the playground will be transferred to a new provider.
The
Friends of Lollard Street Adventure Playground (FOLSAP) are continuing to seek
out the means to keep this vital resource available to local children
and their families and to reinstate the opening times to five days a
week plus school holidays.
